This is where we will post different literary devices that we discover while reading Bud, Not Buddy.

(Please include the literary device, page # it can be found on, and an explanation of it.)
Try to use a variety of literary devices. We have discussed many in class including:
similes, metaphors, alliterations, hyperboles, onomatopoeias, cliffhangers, personification, and foreshadowing

Example:
"Another hornet buzzed into my ear and it felt like someone had poured hot wax right down into my brain." p.29
In this simile the author is implying that the the stinging of the hornet was so severe, it felt as if hot wax was being poured on him which would be VERY painful!
